Christian Etling

Last Will & Testament
Know all men by these presents, that I the undersigned Christian Etling of the City and County of St. Louis, State of Missouri, being of sound and disposing mind do hereby declare and publish this as my last Will and Testament, to wit:
1st It is my will that all expenses that may be hereinafter incured [sic] on my account, and all my just debts be first paid from and out of my Estate.
2nd I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Catherine Jaensch the sum of Two hundred dollars, to have and to hold the same, to the sole and separate use of said Catharine Jaensch, free from any interference or control of her husband, Frederick Jaensch.
3rd I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter in law Margareth Etling wife of my son August Etling the sum of Two hundred and twenty five dollars, being amount due to me by her husband August Etling.
4th I give and devise all the remainder of my estate unto my children August Etling, George Etling, Benjamin W. Etling, Charles Etling and Catherine Jaensch wife of Frederick Jaensch, to be divided between them in equal shares, share and share alike; and it is my wish that the share of my daughter Catharine Jaensch be for her sole and sepereate [sic] use free from any interference or control of her said husband.
And lastly I nominate and appoint my son August Etling as executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of October A.D. 1875

Signed, sealed, published and declared, by the said Christian Etling the testator to be his last Will and Testament in presence of the undersigned witnesses, who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto signed their names as witnesses of this will.
