Julia, also known by her nickname, "Judy," was the first of three children born to David William Fiegenbaum and Rebecca Charlotte (Springer) Fiegenbaum.

Virginia and Warren Harris, Julia Fiegenbaum's cousins, were the children of Irma Boyd (Springer) Harris. Irma was an older sister to Rebecca Charlotte (Springer) Fiegenbaum, wife of David William Fiegenbaum and mother of Julia "Judy" Fiegenbaum.

The woman observing from the porch, and the very young person in her charge, have not been identified.
