The caption in the lower-left corner of this photo appears to be the hand-writing of Katherine Margarete (Maun) Fiegenbaum (1898-1985). She was married to John Henry Fiegenbaum (1901-1981), one of Emma's three brothers.

The background of this picture looks very similar to the background of the photo that is believed to have been taken at the time of Emma's marriage to August Henry Begemann on 6 March 1918. If that observation is correct, the photo would have been taken at the Fiegenbaum-Starkebaum family farm sometime after 1914, when the new house was constructed.
