Colonus Cordt Heinrich Grotholtmann and Elisabeth Snethkamp (Schnetkamp) were married on 3 August 1742 at Ladbergen, Westphalia, Germany. Bill Roege did not identify his source for the marriage. He included a note for this event: " 'Eigen'."
Bill Roege included a general note for Colonus Cordt Heinrich Grotholtmann: "Roege line. Better age for marriage in 1733. Possible the deaths and remarriages are coincidences and the other Cord Heinrich was married at least once too."
