"EMMA KERSTEN born February 26, 1881 near Holstein, MO married FRED NIEMEYER, JR.... Rev. H. C. Nagel, pastor of Immanuel Evangelical Church, Holstein, MO, married them April 14, 1904 at the home of the bride near Holstein, MO. Being a farmer, the couple resided on a farm in the Treloar, MO bottoms where they lived for over 50 years. FRED and EMMA were privileged to observe their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1954. They were parents of ELSIE, WESLEY, ELDRED, LILLIE and DONALD."
