Biographical sketch of "Reinhardt John and Frieda Wilhelmina (Tempel) Riekhof," submitted by Elaine (Riekhof) Hudson. Frieda Wilhelmina Tempel; born 23 November 1911. She was the only child of Friedrick and Emilie (Starkebaum) Tempel. "Just after Frieda's second birthday, her mother, Emillie, died suddenly of a brain tumor. Her grandparents Ernest and Friederike Tempel raised her on their farm just a few miles from where she was born. At the age of 12, after the death of her grandparents, Frieda went to live with her double aunt and uncle Theodore and Emma (Starkebaum) Tempel."
