Elisabeth Hagen, Hermanda Fiegenbaum wrote: "Die ganze Familie, Eltern mit den verheirateten und ledigen Kindern und den Enkelkindern, wanderte 1841 nach USA aus. The whole family, parents and all children and grandchildren went in 1841 to the USA."

Passenger 33: Herrman [sic] Birbaum [sic]; age 28; farmer; from Ladbergen; bound for Cincinati [sic]. Herrman was traveling with Elsabey Birbaum [sic], age 26, his wife; Wilhelm Birbaum [sic], age 1, his son; and Sophia Birbaum [sic], age 18, his sister. The family's baggage consisted of 3 boxes and 1 bag.
