Principal cause of death was "acute myocardial [word] due to acute myocardial [illigible]" onset 20 hours before death. Antecedent cause was acute coronary embolism 24 hours before death. An operation on 20 July 1951 had revealed carcinoma of the prostate. No autopsy was performed. Burial was to be 10 August 1951 in the Evangelical Cemetery at Mayview, Missouri. Undertaker: [illegible] Meinershagen, Higginsville, Missouri. Personal information provided by Mary Fiegenbaum of Mayview, Missouri.       Hermanda reports that Hermann married "Florentine Charl. Wehrmann geb. 07.10.1834 in Lippe Detmold, gest. 01.02.1903." She does not give a date.

           Joseph Riegur certified two other marriages just above this entry and in both of those cases he was identified as a "German Evangel. Minister." Joseph Rieger was the Pastor of the German Evangelical Church on Charrette in Holstein, Missouri from 1847 to 1860 (the church has been known as Immanuels United Church of Christ since 1957).
