Died at 8:55 a.m. on 8 February 1952 at St. Joseph's Hospital, St. Charles, St. Charles County, Missouri after a stay of fur hours at the age of 72 years, 4 months, 11 days. His usual residence was Warrenton, Warren County, Missouri. He was married at the time of death to "Alvena Bierbaum." His usual occupation was farming. He had not served in the U.S. armed forces. He had no social security. Direct cause of death was "Peritonitis" (unknown duration). Antecedent cause was "Perforated appendicitis" (2 days duration?). Signed by "Henry F. Lichtenberg" on 5 August 1916.
           Affidavit of Female: "Alvine Bierbaum" swore that she was the person named in the above application for a marriage license, and that she was 32 years of age, and that she was single, unmarried and lawfully able to marry. Signed by "Alvina [sic] Bierbaum" on 5 August 1916.
