Died 2:00 a.m. on 19 April 1947 at Higginsville, Dover Township, Lafayette County, Missouri at the age of 76 years, - months, 8 days. Her usual residence was Higginsville, Dover Township, Lafayette County, Missouri; she had been in the community "all of her life." She had been a housekeeper. She was widowed at the time of death; spouse's name not given. Cause of death was "Cerebral Embolism" due to "High Blood Pressure." Burial was to be at "Evg. Cemetery" on 21 April 1947. The undertaker was C. G. Meinershagen, of Higginsville, Missouri. Personal information was provided by Arthur Hoefer, of Higginsville, Missouri. Leon L. Spenser, DO, of Higginsville, Missouri, attended the deceased from 18 April 1947 to 19 April 1947 and signed the death certificate on 21 April 1947. The certificate was received with the local registrar on 30 April 1947.

In writing on page 12 about Friedrich Jurgen Meinershagen's preference for George as a middle name in place of Jurgen, the author wrote "He never used it [Jurgen]. It was 'Friedrich George [sic] and Meina [sic] Maria' when they were married at Holstein, Missouri, on March 31, 1870."
