Anna Beggerman [sic]; daughter of August and Minna Beggerman [sic]; age 19; single; born in Missouri. The reported age would yield a birth date of 1890-1891 by calculation.

      Account: "C. A. Begemann Family" submitted by Clara Werning. Anna Begemann was one of 10 children born to C. A. (Karl August) and Wilhelmine (Wehking) Begemann. Date and place of birth were not provided.
           The account reports that the parents were married in Warren County, Missouri and in 1884 they moved to a farm near Mayview, Lafayette County, Missouri. This would suggest that Anna's birth took place in Lafayette County.

      Account: "C. A. Begemann Family" submitted by Clara Werning. C. A. (Karl August) Begemann "married Wilhelmine Wehking, born November 14, 1859, on August 29, 1878...." C. A. (Karl August) and Wilhelmine (Wehking) Begemann had 10 children. One of their daughters died in infancy.
           This account also reported that the parents and nine children emigrated from Germany in 1861 and that one child died during the voyage and was buried at sea. This would indicate that only eight children immigrated to the USA.
