Account: "C. A. Begemann Family" submitted by Clara Werning. "Gottlieb and Fredericka C. (Koertner) Begemann left Rehme Kraes Minden, Germany, with their nine children for North America. A child died while enroute and was buried at sea. They arrived in America on July 11, 1861, and settled in Warren County near Bernheimer, Missouri."
