Transcriptions and burial records from "Mayview Zion Cemetery." Albert H. Tempel, son of J & M. Tempel. Born 20 July 1907; died 26 July 1907. From sources other than the inscription, Brunetti notes the following: "(new stone: b.date 10 July 1907; church rec.: 16 tagen; son Julius Vahrenberg & Martha Fiegenbaum)."
This last notation would seem to indicate that two different stones provide conflicting dates of birth: either the 10th or the 20th of July. The date of death - 26 July - does not seem to be in question. Brunetti points out that the church records speak of 16 tagen [i.e., Tage=days]; presumably this is the age at death. The suppostion is that 10 July as a date of birth in more in keeping with all of this data. Additional research may confirm this.
