Mother's maiden name: Karlmaten; born in Germany. Died at 11:45 p.m. on 14 June 1922 in Hickory Creek Township, Warren County, Missouri at the age of 63 years, 3 months, 27 days. She was widowed at the time of death [spouse's name is illegible; informant wrote the word (wife?)]. Her usual occupation was "House Keeping." Cause of death was "Apoplexy; Cerebral Hemorrhage." There was no operation prior to death. There was no autopsy. Place of burial, cremation, or removal was to be 17 June 1922 at Warrenton, Missouri. The undertaker was C. G. [Nieburg?], of Wright City, [Missouri]. Personal information was provided by J. E. Poeppelmeyer, of Wright City, Missouri. N. S. Clarenbach, M.D., of Wright City, Missouri, had attended the deceased from 3 June 1920 to 14 June 1922 and signed the death certificate on 14 June 1922. The certificate was received by the local registrar on 15 June 1922.

Frances Bonney did not identify the family that reported the husband's surname as Poeppelmeyer and referred (on pages 109 & 113) to the will of Ernst Wilhelm Knapheide in which he bequethed $5.00 each to his surviving children, among whom he mentionde "Wilhelmina, wife of Schoffeleyer" [sic]. (Bonney cited Wills of Warren County, Warrenton, Missouri. Book 1869-1891, page 322.)
