Knapheide," of Buckner, Jackson County, Missouri, applied for a license to marry "Bessie Katheren [sic] Myers," of Buckner, Jackson County, Missouri, swearing that he was 21 years of age, and that "[future bride's name not repeated]" was 22 years of age, and that both were single, unmarried, and not first cousins and lawfully able to marry. Signed by "Paul W. Knapheide" on 13 November 1907.
Affidavit of Female: This portion of the application was left blank. In its place was a statement by "Willie J. Lane," who swore that "Miss Bessie Katheren [sic] Myers" was personally known to him and that she was of the age of 18 and legally able to marry. This affidavit was signed by "Willie J. Lane" on 13 November 1907.
