      Edwin Pope was a child of Lott Pope (1803-1866) and Ann (Goodman) Pope (1803-1878), who married "on May 26, 1828 in their original hometown of Taunton, England in the County of Cornwall, but later moved to London...." Edwin was one of at least six children born to Lott and Ann Pope but the birth order is not given.
