The obituary was published on Saturday, 1 February 1913. The reference to news of Dr. Hillweg's death spreading through town "on Sunday morning" must therefore refer to Sunday, 26 January 1913. According to the obituary, "Dr. C. A. Hillweg had passed away the previous night at 12:40." Technically, "the previous night at 12:40" would not be Saturday, but very early in the morning of Sunday, 26 January 1913.
