Sylvester Daniel Maltby was the third son of Ezra Burchard Maltby (born 1 April 1798 at Lee, Massachusetts); the grandson of Zacheus Maltby (1774 or 1775-1856) and Reunah Burchard (1777-1864).
On page 435, Mrs. Charles E. Winter (Alice R. Maltby), of 839 South Walcott Street, Casper, Wyoming, is listed as member 195 of the Maltby Association.
