Mother's maiden name: Mary M. Bass; born in Kentucky. Died at 10:15 [a.m. or p.m. was not recorded] on 11 March 1933 at Oregon, Holt County, Missouri at the age of 85 years, 3 months, 12 days. His usual residence was not recorded. He was widowed at the time of death; his had been married to "Laura Jane Rayhill." His usual occupation was "retired merchant;" he had last worked at this occupation "about 20 years ago." Cause of death was "Bronchopneumonia" (onset on 7 March 1933). Contributory cause of death was "chronic neyocarditis" (onset in 1930). There was no autopsy. Diagnosis was confirmed clinically. Burial, cremation, or removal was to be on 13 March 1933 at Oregon. The funeral director was Lester Pettijohn, of Oregon, Missouri. Personal information was provided by Mrs. J. T. Scott of Oregon, Missouri. [Jno?] F. Chandler, M.D., of Oregon, Missouri, had attended the deceased from 10 March 1933 to 11 March 1933 and signed the death certificate. The certificate was received by the local registrar [who appears to have also been the attending physician] on 13 March 1933.

Rayhill, of Pana, Christian County, Illinois, who was over the age of 21 years and M. Edna Lukens, of Oregon, Holt County, Missouri, who was over the age of 18 years.
The return certified that Thomas [initial?] Roberts, "Minister of the Gospel," did marry the above name persons at Oregon, Holt County, on 6 May 1886 and filed the Certificate of Marriage with the County Recorder on 11 May 1886.
