    • While the Jungermann family in America has a number of stories concerning this member of the family, as of yet no one has been able to discover any written record of her birth, marriage, or death. There are many questions concerning the facts of her life. She is identified as one the group emigrating from Germany to Missouri in 1855. Nothing is known about her husband. She is said to have had two sons, Joe and Richard, although no record of them or any other descendant has been located. Family tradition places her funeral in St. Louis.
