Father's name: Adrian Hob [sic]; born at Cumberland, Maryland. Mother's maiden name: Eliaebeth [sic] Dorlin [sic]; born in Penn[sylvania]. Died at 5:40 a.m. on 19 March 1928 at St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri at the age of 84 years, 2 months, 7 days. His usual residence was 5201 Swift Street [St. Joseph, Missouri?]. He was widowed at the time of death; his wife had been "Sarah A. Hoblitzell." His trade or profession had been "Retired Lumberman." Cause of death was "Acute Uremic Poisoning" (5 days duration). Contributory cause of death was "Chronic [Interstitial?] Nephritis" (4-5 years duration). There was no operation prior to death. There was no autopsy. Diagnosis was confirmed clinically. Burial, cremation, or removal was to be on 20 March 1928 at or to "Ashland Cemetery." The undertaker was Fred D. Clark, of 5025 King Hill. Personal information was provided by Maurice Stern, of 5201 Swift. William A. Robertson, M.D., of 6210½ King Hill Ave., St. Joseph, Missouri, had attended the deceased from 15 March 1928 to 19 March 1928 and signed the death certificate on 20 March 1928. The certificate was received by the local registrar on 20 March 1928.
