      Lilian Suehr was born about 1887 in Ottawa, Illinois. In the obituray for John G. Allen published in the Edwardsville Intelligencer, of Edwardsville, Illinois, on 1-2 July 2005, Lilian's maiden name is spelled incorrectly; it is not "Seuhr," but "Suehr" (it is pronounced SEAR).
