    • According to her death certificate, Lydia, residing at 110 North Main Street, Mayview, Missouri, died at Memorial Hospital in Lexington after a stay of 10 days. She had undergone a cholecystectomy three days before her death. Dr. H. E. Fulkerson, who had been Lydia's physician since 1955, determined that the cause of death was "Pseudomembranous Enterocolitis" (of 24 hours duration). There was an autopsy.
