    1. [S22] Obituary.
      Photocopy of undated and unidentified obituary for Emelia (Etling) Beyer [from a St. Louis newspaper?].

    2. [S125] Will, Margaretha Etling, 1915; Case No: 44673; St. Louis Probate Court; Missouri State Archives, Jefferson City.
      Letters of Administration; dated and signed 20 March 1916; John Dinsbeer [sic], executor, "to whom letters testamentary were heretofore granted on the estate of said deceased [Margaretha Etling] has since departed this life; ...these letters of administration de bonis non with the will annexed are hereby granted to George L. Gerber." In her will, signed 15 February 1911, Margaretha makes a bequest to "Amilia Beyer, wife of Wm. F. Beyer" as well as Charlotte Gerber and Elisabeth Wende, to share and share alike. Although she does not explicitly identify Amilia as her daughter, other sources seem to indicate this is so.

      The affidavit states that Amilia Beyer is a daughter of and surviving heir of Margaretha Etling.

"ETLING - Passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 1915, at 7 a.m., Margaret Etling (nee Dinsbeer), widow of August Etling,...mother-in-law of...William F Beyer..."       A Card of Thanks following the funeral of "our dear mother, Margaretha Etling." Identified as a member of the grieving family is "Emelia Beyer (nee Etling)." In the German-language version of this notice, the first name is spelled "Emilia."
