Frances Bonney did not identify the family that reported the husband's surname as Poeppelmeyer and referred (on pages 109 & 113) to the will of Ernst Wilhelm Knapheide in which he bequethed $5.00 each to his surviving children, among whom he mentionde "Wilhelmina, wife of Schoffeleyer" [sic]. (Bonney cited Wills of Warren County, Warrenton, Missouri. Book 1869-1891, page 322.)
