           According to the Texas State Board of Health, Standard Certificate of Death number 19754, Miss Ruth Ring died at 1:00 a.m. on 16 March 1913 at 406 Waco Street, Ward 4, Corpus Christi, Neuces [sic] County, Texas.
           On the death certificate, Ruth Ring was identified as a single, white, female of the age of 12 years, born in Minnesota on 16 March 1913 [sic]. Her father was identified as "F. E. Ring," born in Minnesota. Her mother was identified as "M. E. Grllestrie" [sic], born in Illinois. The "Informant" of this personal information provided her signature: "Mrs. F. E. Ring" and her address: "406 Waco Street, City."
           The date of birth recorded on the death certificate is clearly not correct; it is the date of death. The age of 12 years appears to fit with other information that has been discovered. Based on a calculation from this age and the recorded date of death on the certificate, Ruth E. Ring would have been born about 1900-1901.            On the death certificate, Ruth Ring was identified as a single, white, female of the age of 12 years, born in Minnesota on 16 March 1913 [sic]. Her occupation was recorded as "school maiden." Her father was identified as "F. E. Ring," born in Minnesota. Her mother was identified as "M. E. Grllestrie" [sic], born in Illinois. The "Informant" of this personal information provided her signature: "Mrs. F. E. Ring" and her address: "406 Waco Street, City."
           According to the death certificate, Ruth was buried on 16 March 1913 at Bayview Cemetery. The undertaker was "[Beynow?] Un Co" of the "City."
           The death certificate was filed with the registrar, G. W. Gregory, M.D. on 7 April 1913.
           The section of the death certificate reserved for "Length of Residence (For Hospitals, Institutions, Transients, or Recent Residents) was not filled in. Nor was the name of a hospital or institution used in the address of the place of death as required by the instructions. As the place of death matches the address of "Mrs. F. E. Ring," who was undoubtedly Ruth's mother, it would appear that Ruth died in the family home.
