Died at 9:15 pm on 8 October 1952 in Lexington Memorial Hospital, Lexington, Lafayette County, Missouri at the age of 59 years, 2 months, 11 days. His usual residence was R. R. 3, Odessa, Lafayette County, Missouri. He never married; he was a farmer on his own farm; he served in the U.S. armed forces in World War I; he had no social security number. Cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage of 1 day's duration; there was no autopsy. Burial was to be10 October 1952 at "St. Luke Evangelical C." at Wellington, Missouri. J. C. Sheppard, of Wellington, Missouri, was the undertaker. Personal information provided by Louis Drewel, of R. R., Wellington, Missouri. J. E. Ward, MD, of Lexington, Missouri, had attended the deceased from 7 October 1952 to 8 October 1952 and signed the death certificate on 12 October 1952.
