- [S25] Marriage license, for Cecil F. Fiegenbaum and Will Mason Flanigan.
State of Louisiana. Parish of Caddo. Clerk of District Court. Issued on 8 December 1949. Filed with the Clerk of Court on 12 December 1949. Book 126, page 29. Certified paper copy from the Caddo Parish Clerk of Court dated 1 April 2014.
The document consists of an application for a marriage license, the license, and the "Process Verbal of Marriage", which records the details of the marriage. The handwriting used to fill out the document does not match the signature of Cecil F. Fiegenbaum, who signed his name twice. Will Mason Flanigan did not sign the document.
According to the application for the marriage license, Will Mason Flanigan was identified as the child of Lela Holden Prince and Ed. T. Prince, both alive and residents of Lansing, Michigan. She was born at Lansing, Michigan, was white, and 26 years of age. Her occupation was "Waitress". She had been previously married to J. Henry Flanigan; he was living; that marriage had ended in divorce.
Calculating from the date of the marriage and her age as reported, Will would have been born about 1922-1923, a date which is in conflict with other sources.

Lothar Kleinhans performed the marriage; his office as either a minister of the Gospel, a judge or a justice of the peace was not noted.
