      page 133. "She [the author's mother, Sarah Ann Stitt] lived fifteen years after Pa died. Brother Will took her and the younger children from the farm near Grindstone City, Michigan, to Denver, Colorado, where he and Josh and Gid gave them a comfortable home and ministered to all their needs. In the year 1909 she visited Sister Ida, Mrs. Henry Kilburn in Bay City, Michigan and while there contracted pneumonia and passed away after a short illness, aged sixty-seven years."
