Death and burial records. Maria Sophia Uthlaud, nee Theben died 17 April 1848 at the age of 30 years. She was the wife of "R. Heinrich Uthlaud." Calculating from the date of death and the age at death provided by this record, Maria would have been born about 1817-1818.

Following the death of Johann Heinrich Uthlaut's first wife in the early 1840's, he "then married Maria Sophia (nee Theben) Henschen. She was a widow with a young son named Hermann. To this marriage was born Wilhelmine Bernhardine in 1847. Maria died in 1848 leaving the family of 10 children motherless once again.... Where Johann's wives Anna Catharina Elisabeth and Maria Sophia are buried is not known."
