Heinrich Adolph Strüwe, child of Johan Heinrich Strüwe and Anna Elisabeth Jacobs, was born 3 May 1778 at Ladbergen, Westphalia, Germany.
The database includes this note for the birth of this person: "Twin of a stillborn child."
The exact identity of Heinrich Adolph's mother seems to be less than certain. The Ladbergen database identifies her as "Chr Lies dau of Johan Jacobs" in a note for her christening and as " Chr Elis Jacobs unmarried" in a note for her marriage. The note included with her death reads: "@68y; Excolona & widow Anna Elis Struwe geb Kotterheinrich, Wester [believe Kotterheinrich should be Jacobs, 1768 death must have been Kotterheinrich and no other children of Joh Heinr Struwe list Kotterheinrich as the mother.] Her niece is Colona Kotterheinrich." The note for Heinrich Adolph's death identifies him as the son of "Col Joh Heinr Struwe & Anna Elis Elshove."
Determining whether Heinrich Adolph Strüwe's mother's maiden name was Elshove, Jacobs, or Kotterheinrich may require further investigation.
