Died:
According to information on her death certificate, Bessie C. Knapheide died at 7:00 p.m. at IOOF Hospital, where she had been a patient for 18 months. Her death was the result of many years of arteriosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Bessie married Knapheide, Paul Wilhelm 14 Nov 1907, Jackson County, Missouri, USA. Paul (son of Knapheide, Friedrich Wilhelm and Schnieder, Maria Mathilda) was born 12 Mar 1886, Warren County, Missouri, USA; died 18 Dec 1958, Liberty, Clay County, Missouri, USA; was buried 21 Dec 1958, Buckner, Jackson County, Missouri, USA. According to their marriage license, they were married by "B. E. Niblack, Pastor of Oak Grove Ct. M. E. Church."

Marriage License:
The application for a marriage license affirmed that "Paul W. Knapheide," of Buckner, Jackson County, Missouri, age 21, and "Bessie Katheren Myers," of Buckner, Jackson County, Missouri, age 22 were both legally able to marry. The application was signed by "Paul W. Knapheide" on 13 November 1907. Bessie Katheren Myers appears not to have been present at the time, but was represented by "Willie J. Lane," who swore that he personally knew Bessie and also signed the application. The bound copy of the marriage license was recorded with the Recorder of Deeds at Independence, Missouri, but the location printed on the unbound copy of the marriage license was Kansas City, Missouri.
