According to the 1920 U.S. enumeration, the household consisted of Thomas J. Allen, a 55 year old doctor working in public health and his wife, Lillie S. Allen, age 38. The enumeration noted that Thomas was born in Ireland, but the date of his immigration and his citizenship status were both listed as "unknown."
