Died 7:30 p.m. on 13 February 1933 at Higginsville, Washington Township, Lafayette County, Missouri at the age of 71 years, 4 months, 13 days. His occupation was farming. He was widowed at the time of death; spouse's name not given. Cause of death was "sudden death following mitral regurgitation of years standing." Contributory causes were "Diabetes & Chronic nephritis." Burial, removal or cremation was to be at or to Mayview, Missouri on 15 February 1933. The undertaker was Hoefer & Meinershagen, of Higginsville, Missouri. Personal information was provided by Mrs. Martin Fiegenbaum, of RFD Higginsville, Missouri. W. A. Braecklein, MD, of Higginsville, Missouri, attended the deceased from 9 July 1932 to 13 February 1933 and signed the death certificate. The certificate was filed with the local registrar on 8 March 1933.
