Frederick W. Schroer, child of Herman Heinrich Schroer and Christina Elsabein Fiegenbaum, was born on 13 October 1848.
From a transcription of the baptismal records of the former Reformed Church in New Knoxville, Ohio and other unspecified records. The transcription does not indicates the source of this information and does not explicitly name the place of birth or baptism.
In spite of the title of this web page, and according to the data presented, not all the births or baptisms listed took place in Washington Township nor even in Auglaize County.
It should be noted that immediately before this entry in the transcription is another one for a Friederich Wilhelm Schroer, born on 12 October 1848 to H. Hein. Schroer and wife Christina nee Maneke. The transcriber questions that the mother's maiden name might be Fiegenbaum. This child was bapized on 2 December 1848. Clearly further research is required to determine exactly how many F. W. Schroer's were born in October 1848 in Washington Township, Ohio.
