The child's parents were identified as residents of Warren County and it has been assumed that the birth took place in the home. Whether the baptism also took place in the home, or at the church in Femme Osage, is not known.

The death and burial were recorded in the register of the evangelical church at Femme Osage, Missouri (founded in 1833 and known since 1957 as Femme Osage United Church of Christ). The grave of "Arnold Friedrick Oberhellmann" may be found in the "Old" cemetery of the church.

The baptismal record for Arnold Friedrich Oberhellmann identified his parents as residents of Warren County and it has been assumed that the death, at the age of five months and three days, took place in the home.
