    Buried:
    Funeral services were conducted at the Nolte home and at St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church of Blackburn, with Pastor August L. Brueggemann officiating. According to information on her death certificate, Florence was to be buried at Blackburn City Cemetery on 14 May 1948.

    Died:
    According to information on her death certificate, Florence died at 9:45 a.m. in rural Elmwood Township, Saline County, Missouri at the age of 47 years, 5 months, 12 days. The immediate cause of death was myocarditis as a result of carcinoma of the liver.
         According to an obituary, Florence "had been in failing health for some months and in recent weeks her health failed rapidly, during which time she suffered intensely." She was survived by her husband and three children: Mrs. Ralph Martins, of Concordia, Missouri; and Chester William Nolte and Kenneth Lee Nolte of the home. She was also survived by her father, J. W. Hoeflicker, and her step-mother, of Higginsville, Missouri; and five brothers and sisters: Mrs. Elba Cook, of Blackburn, Missouri; Arthur Hoeflicker, of Long Beach, California; Mrs. Herbert Buesing, of Sweet Springs, Missouri; Mrs. Carl Woolsey, of Independence, Missouri; and Granville Hoeflicker, of Bakersfield, California. One brother, George Hoeflicker, preceded her in death on 26 August 1922; and her mother had passed away on 21 March 1931.

    Florence married Nolte, Johan Wilhelm Friedrich 12 Aug 1921. Johan (son of Nolte, Louis Heinrich and Flair, Katharine Anne) was born 12 Aug 1900, Lafayette County, Missouri, USA; died 20 Oct 1964, Lexington, Lafayette County, Missouri, USA; was buried 22 Oct 1964, Blackburn, Saline County, Missouri, USA.
